“I’m curious, what makes you happier? Seeing him lifting the ban of magic, or knowing he’s doing it for you.”

Colin: Did you actually fall asleep in that log in the background?
Bradley: I think I might have done. It wouldn’t surprise me. I was trying to create the image that basically you’ve got this dashing knight in the form of Lancelot, and then you’ve got an oaf inthe background, who’s asleep, snoring, mouth wide open, just looking incredibly unappealing.
Because I think, essentially, Lancelot is the better choice for Guinevere. I think, if anything, it’s just Lancelot’s absence that’s the only thing that keeps them apart.
Arthur’s main focus is Camelot.

Sometimes I think that the writers would like us just to forget that Season One ever happened. It felt like they tried to erase or reset most of the character relationships and take the show down a different road. Unfortunately for me, I got pretty attached to that early version of the show. It may have been a little silly and cheesy, but I still enjoyed it more than anything that’s come afterwards. It’s not that S2-forward is necessarily a bad show - it’s just not the show I fell in love with.
This, so much. Especially the way they’ve treated Merthur in the 2nd series after the golden treatment of S1: horror.
Didn’t I my dear.
because while I love it to death, the characters, the dialogue, everything; while I love everything about this show, if someone were to ask me, ‘how would you describe the show in one word?’ or maybe more, ‘in one word, how do you feel about the show?’ do you know what my answer would be?
disappointing. I feel disappointed.
huh.
I don’t think it should be this big thing where Merlin says to Arthur, “So…I gots da magic”. That’s so expected. I think Arthur should figure it out and confront Merlin. Arthur is always the one who gets played so dim, and he’s not. Sure there are a million times he could have easily seen that Merlin has magic, and he didn’t, but he’s not dumb. He’s busy. He’s distracted. He’s fighting off five men with a sword. He’s ruling over the whole of Camelot. He’s tappin’ dat Guinevere ass. He’s going on quests. His dad’s dying. He’s knighting bitches. He’s got people trying to kill him left and right. His sister’s gone ape shit. HE’S BUSY DAMMIT.
So why not give Arthur a situation where he gets to chill the eff out, sit down, and think about it. Then he could be all like, “Soo…Merlin, you gots da magic”.
He’ll probably freak out, and I foresee a thoroughly pissed off Arthur no matter how the reveal happens, if for no other reason, simply because they are BFFs and that’s a big fucking secret.
Anyways, yeah?
yeah.
the world is not the same without you.
“Time may twist us, and lives may break us… but I promise we will be together.” Merlin said convincingly.
“You can’t be —” Arthur protested.
Merlin interrupted him, trying to sway all doubt from his mind. “Arthur, I promise.”
“So… it’s time then.” Arthur weakly whispered.
“Yeah, I guess it is.” Merlin replied. His smile as weak as the words he just heard. Arthur closed his eyes, letting the final drops of blood leak from his wound.
“See you on the other side.” Arthur groaned before letting out his last breath.
“Not if I see you first.” Merlin whimpered and he lowered his king onto the oak floor. Merlin closed his eyes and waited, waited for the day that he too would step through the door and chase after Arthur once again.
I’ll see you soon.

“Hi! Hi, there… I’m, uh, I’m Bradley. We’re gonna be working on, uh, Merlin together.” Bradley awkwardly put his hands in his pants pockets, blushing. Something about Mer… Mer? Something about Colin seemed familiar.
“Right right! Well, I’m Colin. Nice to… Nice to meet you.” Colin gave Bradley his biggest smile. Something… something about him was familiar.
It’s been a while.
I’ve missed you.
